movie fan rewards

Imagine you are at the movie theater, and while you are watching the previews, you are competing for free popcorn or a soda. How? with the Movie Fan Rewards, an interactive real time trivia app for movie lovers to get immediate prizes.

The app will know the movie that you are about to watch, and will trigger specific questions to the previews you'll be watching. The one that answers more questions correctly (and faster) will win the prize. If you are not the lucky winner, you would still make points or earn rewards that at some point you'll be able to exchange for some other free items or even movie tickets.

Movie Fan Rewards will also ask you if you would like to watch the movie on the previews, and if you do, it will send you a reminder when the movie is playing (I know I have missed many movies because I just forget about them...).

At the end of the previews, and just before your movie starts, Movie Fan Rewards app will put your phone on vibrate (you are welcome!).

The concept was then expanded for it to also work while streaming, but it became a bit too complex to develop.

The concept is good, and it can still work, but it's difficult to see long term sustainability.
