From the time we started, to the time we unfortunately closed our operation, we had shared/donated just short of $12,000 dollars (see below); however, the most rewarding aspect of it all, is when we were actually able to see the impact your donations makes, or being able to be present when you are actually making a difference in someone's life.
In addition to the shared profit, we did a bit of volunteering (never enough) with a few organizations, we initiated "pay it forward" actions (sometimes it lasted, sometimes it didn't), and we put together packages for the homeless, including now even face masks, socks, and non-alcoholic sanitizer.
If we had to do it all over again, we would focus on local initiatives and potentially in individuals, where all of our efforts go towards this focused cause and we can truly make a huge difference in someone's life..
We will keep driving this, individually, as a family, and as an organization, and please keep in mind that it is not all about donating money, you can also donate your time, your expertise, and help others to be, to get, or to become better.
BTW, you can also be kind with peers, friends, and people you don't know by just thanking them for a job well done, smiling at someone, holding the door open, etc. This little act of kindness can and will make a difference in someone's day, I promise.
